
Baristapocalypse
Baristapocalypse was developed in Unity using C#. It was a team project created with the class as our final project. I was apart of the game for three months, but it was in development for about a year and a half. My main focus on the project when it was in development was to create an AI that is able to pick up trash and throw it in the garbage shute.
Games Goals
The goals for the team were to have a fully polished game that everyone can enjoy across multiple platforms. Another goal we had for the project was to meet our deadline, by cutting unnecessary parts out. It allowed the team to reach our goals.
Cleanup Bot
The cleanup bot has three different states, roam, cleanup, empty. In the roam state, the AI moves between five different points around the level. After one of the customers make a mess, the AI bot will switch to the cleanup state, where the bot will clean up the mess until reaching four messes cleaned up then it will switch into its final state called empty. Where the bot will run over to the garbage shute and empty itself out.
